Netroots Nation Inaugural Party
By Joel McDonald • Dec 30th, 2008 • Category: Blog, Features
Without a doubt, the netroots have a big impact on how political information is gathered and spread online. I believe that bloggers are crucial to campaigns and can have a tremendous impact on how voters learn about candidates, campaigns, and issues.
That being said, it makes total sense for bloggers to gather together to celebrate the upcoming inauguration that we’ve worked so hard for.
Netroots Nation is hosting an evening of celebrating, carousing, eating and drinking with the progressive community.
The event is co-hosted by AmericaBlog, Blue Commonwealth, Congress Matters, Firedoglake, Fivethirtyeight.com, Frameshop, Jack & Jill Politics, Living Liberally and myDD. It’s possible that Virginia Beach Progressives may be added to the list of co-hosts.
So if you’re going to be in Washington, DC on Monday, January 19, then this is the place you’ll want to be! For full details and to RSVP, click here.
I’m not sure if I will be attending as of yet, but I will be sure to let everyone know if I’ll be heading that direction.
