The vote recount for the 21st District race will take place on Monday, Dec. 14, a circuit court judge determined this morning.
Stolle is worried enough to have his staff continue to look for evidence of misconduct to be used against Captain Bell, post election.
We were there as a reminder that the people of Virginia Beach are watching this election closely, and it had better be a fair count of the votes that decides the winner.
Creigh Deeds, should have never made it out of the starting gate on primary day. He should not have been a serious contender.
Both Public Policy Polling and SurveyUSA are indicating that McDonnell and gang are going to sweep Virginia, and Lowell Field is predicting a 5 seat pick-up in the House of Delegates for Republicans.
Barack Obama is campaigning for conservative Democrat Creigh Deeds in a race that’s not about actually moving Virginia forward, but keeping within the good graces of Virginia’s Democratic party.
Deeds was a compromise “safe” selection in the Democratic primary; and now people aren’t even sure why the Democrat in the race is. It sucks, and it could have been prevented.
I believe Creigh Deeds has shown that he’s not interested in progressive causes, and because of this; I’m no longer interested in helping him win this election.
Peter Schmidt is the Democratic candidate for the Virginia House of Delegates, 82nd district. He’s running against Republican Bob Purkey, who has held the seat for 29 years.
