All in all, it’s a time to celebrate the success of Health Care Reform in the House. We’re a step closer to making affordable healthcare accessible for Americans.
This congress needs to step it up and start serving the interests of the people, and stop playing political games. It’s time to get things done as the majority and actually lead for a change.
A group of “tea baggers” protesting health care reform either missed or ignored the many messages sent out that Rep. Glenn Nye would not be speaking at this morning’s Virginia Beach Democratic Committee breakfast. They showed up anyway.
Unfortunately, it’s a lot easier to drink the weak tea brewed by the “tea baggers” than to actually get the facts and enter into an intelligent debate over the complexities of health care reform.
